Dear Bobcat Families,
I am deeply honored to serve as the assistant principal of curriculum at Belle Terre Elementary School. Being a Bobcat for the last four years, I am continually amazed at the incredible group of people who work tirelessly for the students of BTES. Over time, I have watched our school grow academically and technologically as we work to meet the needs of 21st century learners. In a world experiencing exponential change, our staff is committed to preparing students for the dynamically new environment they will face upon graduation. As we carry out our commitment of providing a world class education, we will pave the path for college and career readiness for all students.
Throughout the 2013-2014 school year, we will face some of the largest challenges ever seen in public education. With budget cuts, higher expectations, and the implementation of the common core curriculum, all stakeholders must work together to meet these challenges. Our school will lead the way to a brighter future for our students, our school, and our community. Together, we will rise “faster, stronger, higher.”
Yours in education,
BTES: Where excellence in the norm; not the exception.

I am honored to be Assistant Principal at BTES.
I have been in the Flagler School system for 32 years, working at Buddy Taylor, Wadsworth, Indian Trails and Belle Terre.
I am proud to be part of a winning team, and believe that all students can learn and will learn at BTES.
I enjoy seeing the students each day, and knowing that I am a part of shaping their future.
Our school motto is faster, stronger, higher. This is our philosophy, and our daily mission, to be all that we can be for the students.
